Let's share our sisterhood and invite some friends or family to join us!!    The Hartland Community Band will be playing the film music scores of John Williams at the bandshell in Hartland's Nixon Park, Thursday August 13th.   Musical scores like Star Wars, Superman, ET the Extra-terrestrial, Jurassic Park.

The band plays 7pm - 9pm.  We will plan to arrive about 5:30pm in the park.  There are some park bench seats, but suggest we bring lawn chairs.  Food trucks are available, as well as their Beer Garden.  Plenty of bathrooms.

Parking is nearby, mostly on the street; with minimal walking.  If you like, we can carpool from Roxanne's home, N49W28372 Maryanns Way, Pewaukee and help anyone who may need assistance.

MEET NOLAN.  He is Sharie Kaminski's 2 year old grandson, who is deaf, loves reading books, watching diggers, playing on the playground, and cheering for sports.  He enjoys time with his friends and teachers just s much as he loves being at home with his family and dogs.  when asked what he want to be someday, Nolan will tell you a superhero, or maybe a baseball player.

Nolan was born with profound hearing loss, but with bilateral cochlear implants received at just 9 months old, he is learning to listen and communicate with confidence.  Nolan began HEAR Wisconsin service at just 3 months old and he joined HEAR Wisconsin's Toddler Communication Group at age 1 and has made incredible progress.  His language comprehension is now at age level with his hearing peers, and his curiosity, joy, and determination shine through every day.

With  the support of family an the dedicated team at HEAR Wisconsin, Nolan is building the skills he needs to grow, learn, and dream big, whatever those dreams may be.

PHILANTROPY  - We need volunteers at the HEAR Wisconsin Golf Invitational on Monday, August 31st at the Wisconsin Country Club.  The golf event will raise funds to support programming for our deaf and hearing impaired toddlers.

Please consider joining Sharie.  Duties will involve set up, registration and golf activities.  You're welcome to join for the whole day, or just part of the day, whatever works for you.  We are hopeful for a beautiful day for al participants and for us, the volunteers!

Contact Sharie at 414 315-8123 with any additional questions.  Friends and family are welcome to volunteer as well.  The more the merrier!  And, if you would like to golf, instead of volunteering, please register and join the fun on the course.

Wednesday, October 28, 2026  North Hills Country Club

It all started years ago in Syracuse...join us to celebrate the dedication and fortitude of ten ladies who shaped the future of Alpha Phi.  We would not be the same incredible individuals we grew into today without the foresight of these women who were ahead of their time.

Founder's Day is a time to remember the past and plan for the future.  At North Hills we will host an event including dinner, history lessons, special ceremonies, and member recognition.

Looking forward to a wonderful night of sisterhood celebration!

Each meal includes: salad, rolls, entre, dessert, coffee service, tax and tip.  Please note we have worked hard not to increase prices from last year!

There will also be a cash bar and light appetizers for your enjoyment.
